Mark Sparrough, SOC, is a New York-based Director of Photography and Steadicam/Camera Operator with 18 years of experience in the television and film industry.
His D.P. work spans feature films, television, and music videos. Some of his most recent credits include the feature films "Before/During/After," "Snatchers," and "Mount Joy," as well as television shows such as Hulu's "Deadbeat" and BET's "50 Central."
His Steadicam/camera operator work has taken him through the White House with President Obama for NBC, ABC and CBS News, into flooded sewers for National Geographic, and on location for numerous scripted television shows and documentaries. He has worked for HBO, Spike, F/X, BRAVO, USA Network, Hulu, Food Network, Cartoon Network, the Discovery Channel and more.
Mark is a member of the International Cinematographer’s Guild (IATSE Local 600), Steadicam Operators Association (SOA) and the Society of Camerapersons (SOC). He lives in Brooklyn, and, in addition to camera work, he is a rabid record collector, fisherman and horror movie enthusiast.
